We have just arrived back home from the most amazing suprise holiday ever!
As you might have read in my last post that my husband arranged a suprise holiday for our 10th Wedding Anniversary...
Last week we flew to Sydney, stayed over at an airport hotel and left early the next morning for... Only Hubby knew where. The check-in counter was marked for Singapore but, as she was checking us in, the clerk asked if we wanted our baggage forwarded to BEIJING, CHINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The suprise destination was revealed.
So, my family have just returned from an amazing week in China. We have walked in Tian'an Men Square, through the Forbidden City (Watch the movie "The Last Emperor"), on the Great Wall and around the Terracotta Soldiers in Xian.
We have watched the Peking Opera, seen acrobatic displays and enjoyed seeing the dances from the Tang dynasty.
Here are just a few of the 300 photos I have taken in the last week. I am sure more will be posted soon.

Ammi says : "Tell James that I think he arranged an amazing surprise and that I can see (and hear) that you had an amazing time. I'm amazed that he was able to keep the secret so very well!
Thank you for travelling with ZEP- he loved every minuite and says that you make very good host parents :)
His commemerative plaque is his most prized posession - Thank you. "
WOW!! That's WAY cool - hope my hubbie does something equally amazing for our 10th (which is still a way off, so he has time to plan)...
