One more week at home...

I am into my last week at home before I jet off again. Yup that's right another wedding, this time in Sunny South Africa. I will be in Johannesburg from the 20th and then off to Cape Town on the 1st February.

This holiday I have decided to make a few changes to the way I do things. Last time I spent a lot of time going to peoples homes and visiting with them there. Which was lovely but as a result I didn't set foot on a beach. When you live in regional Australia, 7 hours from the nearest beach, this becomes an issue.
Also there was our large and festive farewell dinner that turned out to be quiet and intimate with only 6 of 20 people arriving.
So, this time, I am being a tourist and if people would like to see us they are welcome to come and join us and be a tourist too :) Monkey is also getting older and it will be good for him to have some new experiences.

A few things you could join us in doing are:
Going to the aquarium,
Having lunch at Evita's; Groot Constantia
Day trips to Paddagang or Franschoek,
Afternoon Tea at the Nellie; Kirstenbosch Gardens
Trips to Knysna or Oudtshoorn
Waving at the trains from Fish Hoek beach

Oh what fun, does that plane only leave next week?

See some of you soon!

hey B
I'm not jealous, honest I'm not!!
Although - could you sneak me into your bags, along with nappies and the rest of your toddler paraphenalia??
Seriously, I hope you have a fab time, and I reckon not visiting quite so much and spending more time doing things with Monkey you really want to do sounds like a good plan...
Anyway, love to your Nan, and can't wait to see your pics and read about your trip.
heaps of love xxx

I would sneak you into my bag anytime! How about meeting us there? :) Do you remember the way.

Will definately smile at a penguin for you on Boulders and maybe even sneak a glass or two in Franschoek or Boschendal :) Must say that no- where in SA is a patch on your place in France though!

I am loving your blog. I read it last thing before bed.

Please encourage Mr wibbz to do one with all his beautiful pictures.

Hugs to the boys and a high five for T for eating clemtines. WHoo Hoo

Love B
